Does this boob realize where the currency comes from to pay for governent. Government is of the people, by the people, for the people.
This guy thinks it's the other way around.

This could be the dumbest thread that I have ever enjoyed on this board.
It is the perfect illustration of the abject stupidity of the Left in this country.

You have it ALL wrong!

But you just go on with the WealthWorship....it makes them verrrry happy.....

True. The class envy rhetoric has even converted me. I now realize that those who work hard to become successful do not really deserve what they attain. Therefore, they should be willing to have the government confiscate whatever percentage of their wealth it deems proper and redistribute it to those who choose not to work hard. Furthermore, next time I need a job I plan to be hired by a poor person.

Does this boob realize where the currency comes from to pay for government. Government is of the people, by the people, for the people. Government is strictly at our service.

So you are saying that the Founding Fathers principles are those of a "boob."

I don't think you fully comprehend what the article stated. It is exactly stating that the government is for the people of the people and by the people.

As for the author being a "boob"...

He is a lay scholar of the history and textual analysis of the United States Constitution, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. He received his C.H. (Chartered Herbalist) degree from Dominion Herbal College, an M.H. (Master of Herbology) degree from Emerson College, and a Ph.D. in Homeopathic Medicine from Brantridge in England.

Hartmann is a prolific writer who has published more than twenty books on diverse topics. The title which won the most critical acclaim is The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight. In 1999 he was invited by the Dalai Lama to spend a week in Dharamsala after reading it. Hartmann won the Project Censored Award in 2004 for Unequal Protection. As a result of a book on spirituality, The Prophet's Way, he was invited in 1998 to meet Pope John Paul II.

Trained in the 1970s in Neuro-Linguistic Programming by Richard Bandler, Hartmann is licensed by Bandler's Society of NLP as both an NLP Practitioner and an NLP Trainer, and Bandler wrote the foreword to his book Healing ADD. Cracking The Code: How to Win Hearts, Change Minds, and Restore America's Original Vision. Screwed: The Undeclared War Against The Middle Class and What We Can Do About It. Walking Your Blues Away: Practical Bilateral Therapies for Healing the Mind and Optimizing Emotional Well-Being. John and Robert Kennedy, the Plan for a Coup in Cuba, and the Murder of JFK. What Would Jefferson Do? And this is just a partial list of hus books.

Not too shabby and not someone that anyone that is not a "horse's behind" themselves would ever call a "horse's behind".

By refuting what Hartman claims, you have displayed your own disdain for Democracy!

Before commenting wouldn't it be fun, not to mention more intelligent, to read the OP???

"""Americans consistently supported fiscal policies that undermined middle- and working-class interests partially because they saw themselves as rich-people-in-waiting: Given time, toil and the magic of compound interest, anyone could retire a millionaire.

That mind-set has all but been eradicated by the damage sustained by the average worker's nest egg, combined with the spectacle of bankers and financial engineers maintaining their lifestyles with multimillion-dollar bonuses while the submerged 99% struggle for oxygen.

(The price of admission to the top 1% income-earning club last year was roughly $400,000.) That may account for the near-total absence of public outcry over President Obama's proposal to raise tax rates on the wealthiest Americans -- except of course from the wealthiest Americans.

One factor fueling the public fury over the AIG bonuses, so inescapably in the news this week, is the recognition that so many huge fortunes landed in the hands of the undeserving rich. Some of them added little value to the economy but merely moved money around in novel, excessively clever and ultimately destructive ways; others are corporate executives who were ridiculously overpaid whether they succeeded or failed at their jobs.

It won't be long now, moreover, before Americans again wise up to the role of dumb luck in building wealth.

By my count, roughly one-quarter of the names on the Forbes list of the 400 richest Americans got there by

inheritance

(and by no means have all of them enhanced the family fortune with their own toil or brainpower). ""

2 edged sword
the belief that a violent loser is just another cool dude expressing himself is also waning.

He is all those things to be sure.
He is also a liberal socialist.

This was an attack on conservatives nothing more, nothing less.

Now that the government has its foot in the door on determining how much income one group of people deserve, how long will it be before they expand this new power to regulate how much the rest of us are allowed to earn?

I don't see any evidence of this. Look at big Hollywood celebrities who are worshipped because they're rich. Oprah is considered to be an expert on everything because she's extremely wealthy.

The Democrats pushed huge multi-billion bailouts to keep the wealthy very wealthy instead of letting corrupt banks fail. Even now they're talking about bailing out the housing industry which has been based on greed, building and selling houses far too costly for the buyers.

The current economy and the bailouts are all to keep everything that caused the problems in the first place going. The government is simply bailing out everyone for their poor decisions and corruption.

Again and for the last time...

Thom Hartman places the beliefs of The Founding Fathers and their principles which are The Constitution above all else. If you are in disagreement with his words, you are in disagreement with The Founding Father's words. If this is the case, which it appears to be, you are not of a patriotic mind. The attack on this country was by people that label themselves "Conservatives" but were and are operating under Fascist ideology. That is why we find our once great nation is the state that it is in now!

Were you worried when the Republicans fought so hard against raising the minimum wage? Or when UAW workers, airline workers were forced to have their wages LOWERED!?????
