Yes, and once you tax them at 90% (as did FDR), do you think they are going to let you continue? Or will they simply quit working?

FDR tried that. It wasn't a successful policy.

I'm with Doc1, who are the "rich" ? I'd like to know!

If you chase all the "rich" with pitchforks out of the country, who will pay for the Liberal's agenda? Who will fund Pelosi's jet? or Obama's travel expenses to appear on late night shows? Who will pay for the illegals health care and education? Who will pay for Octo Mom's 14 children?

See something isn't adding up here. We were told that the Rublicans were all old, uneducated, rednecks who live in trailers and the Democrats are brilliant, kind, young, educated and have the good jobs. This is what we were told during the campaign.

Now that the campaign is over, suddenly these old, uneducated, rednecks have somehow managed to leave their trailers and have taken over the executive jobs and are refusing to pay taxes to help the poor, sick, and uneducated Democrats.

Which is it? It is obvious that the Dems change the senerio depending what best suits them at the time.

So can I assume that the OP and others who support his view will be taking those pitchforks to Obama?

You know, the one who received over 2.5 million in royalties, and just days before taking office got another $500,000 for a children's book. Does he qualify as "rich"?

You meant to follow that up with "aside from paying most of the taxes." Fixed it for you.

Oh and she also forgot to follow that up with "aside from providing most of the jobs in this country".

As long as everybody gets a Volga or Lada then why not. All those Soviets and East Germans can't have been wrong.

Just remember to hop in the bread line early; the line gets long.

KevK - In many countries I'm sure you'd be considered rich. Where do you draw the line ? Is it right above where your income is or shall we include you also so that 70% of your income can go to the poor folk who make so much less?

I'm sure that there are many people in the hood who would envy your income and would like to have a piece of it. Be careful what you ask for cause you may end up paying like all the "Rich".

While we are at it, let's get rid of successful people. Then let's get rid of people who work two jobs - obviously they are taking up an additional slot that can be used for someone else - it is only FAIR.

Then let's get rid of people who work 6 days a week - obviously they are doing too much work and preventing another from that work.

Next, let's get rid of overtime - obviously we can hire someone else to do the extra work - no sense in one person working more than 40 hours. It is only fair.

Now let's get to work. Everyone who got up early, went to school, played by the rules, make good choices - let's make sure they don;t make too much money - it is only fair because they made good decisions and thus we don't want them to get too far ahead of everyone else- it is only FAIR.

Let's make damn sure that we don't have anymore EVIL people like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Jack Welch, Ray Kroc, Sam Walton, etc...those people are simply evil. Let's make sure that they are held back so that they can't operate in a free market and make technolgoy, industry, etc----we don't want them to get ahead of themsleves.

It is only FAIR.

Once we punish and prohibit all of these EVIL qualities in our people ---- ONLY THEN can we progress forward as a nation...

MORONS.

Don't forget the democrat Clinton family. How many multi-millions has Bill made since he left office? If he was a true democrat he would have donated all his income to charities or done all those appearances for free.

Let's not discuss the Kennedy Clan. I'm sure they believe in giving all their income to the poor also.
