Not saying you are like this -- but I see this attitude all the time, and from both sides I might add.

I think that's what's so frustrating. Tea parties are not about party but about policy on both sides. They are about dissatisfaction in our elected representatives on both sides. They are about the people voicing their disgust in government. I think this is more of a release of pressure that's started with Bush or before and has carried over and come to its inflection point. I'm inclined to think that those who think it's just about party are the ones that are in fact, more concerned about party. It's too bad, because the first order in gaining power is to divide and conquer, and it seems the Govt has done a great job in dividing the people so that they fight amongst themselves, while the fat herds are up on the Hill feeding at the trough. There are enough crooks on both sides of the aisle.

My disgust for the politicians cuts both ways, party-wise. I think there are many like me, at least I hope so.

Yeah, thee's a huge us vs them mentality here. That seems to be the way it is on many message boards. The 'middle of the roaders' get disgusted with the vectives and just give up posting. It is a shame, really.

AMEN. It's starting to be two sides but not like you think. It's the government versus the people. Throw all the bums out. They work for us but they tax us to death and they make the rules so they are in control.
