He’s Starting to Make Joe Biden Sound Like Daniel Webster : The Sundries Shack

Quick, say the word “Orion”. Did you get it right, with a long “eye” sound in the middle of the word and the stress on the second syllable?

Of course you did. What are you, the President of the United States?
Here’s the video of the speech. He actually mispronounces “Orion” three times in three minutes and it’s obvious that the first time he stumbles over it that he suspects something is wrong. Instead of taking a moment to make sure he has the name of the company correct (which he did with the name of the owner of the company) though, he just keeps going as his teleprompter scrolls on, comfortable in his ignorance.

click on the link to watch the video and read more.....about Oprompter!

Got to agree with you. We have real problems to deal with and people jumping on speach paterns or pronumciation is just plain dumb. I, too, did not like it when Bush was picked on and do not like it now when Obama is picked on. Just juvenile.

That's what i was wandering about when Bush was presdient. Democrats worried about pronoucation. Now they seem to have started a trend;if democrats are morans then who elected them?

To be honest I hate it too when people make fun of a president over and over when he makes a pronouciation mistake/error....but I heard it for 8 years being said about George Bush and it seems to be okay to make George Bush look like a terrorist without anybody complaining...so this was to be expected specially with a man like Oprompter who openly bashed Bush and blamed Bush for everything instead of saying one thing positive about Bush and how he kept us all safe after 9/11!

I don't like Obama at all but agree with you here.

I would like to insert for all the younger people who didn't get to hear the first person I ever heard call nuclear, nucular. That was the President in the 50s, Dwight D. Eisenhower. It made me grit my teeth to hear him say that word and back then there was a lot of talk about that subject.

Nucular was one of Bush's favorites that the MSM and all Bush bashers loved to rant about, wasn't it?

We do have real problems to deal with, but if Obama has time during this crisis to go on Leno and make fun of Special Olympics, then we as citizens have time to comment on Obama's gaffes.
