We ALREADY have immigration laws if we would enforce them. What a slap in the face to the countless immigrants who followed those laws and went about EARNING legal residence, the right way. Amnesty my a$$. You don't get rewarded for breaking the law.

We're already sending enough money to Mexico for the oil we buy from them which they got by drilling right off our shores where we are not allowed to drill. It's an Obamanation.

Have you not heard the mantra "comprehensive reform" that has started again? have you not heard amnesty for the illegals currently here? Have you not heard the whining "we can't deport the millions already here" so if you don't deport 'em then make 'em go to the back of the line what exactly ARE you doing? Hmmmm?
Did you miss the latest order stopping workplace raids? Did you MISS completely the part of the porkulus that stops employers from having to use EVerify to check status of workers before hiring them for the makework programs... Well, did you? Thought so!

Whew you are all over the place..slow down and wait for an answer you may learn something.

1. The "comprehensive reform" Act of 2007 that you've pointed out, yes i have heard of it and everyone from the congress to the Senate to the former administration now to the new administration have been struggling with a workable reform. I believe we're all on the same page that the reform for illegals is that they need to go back.
2. There were no orders to stop deportation, just the mid night seperation of parents and children. again same page they have to go.
2. Amnesty, same thing except the past as well as the current amnesty talks involve a work program that would allow them to work their way to amnesty...again, same page, they need to go back.
but here's the issue that is the concern, the illegals US born children, that is the stick in everyone's crawl.
3. You twisted the E-Verify item and the stimulus bill (hopefully this was a oops because you were going so fast) but the bill did not include wording to stop employers from using E-Verify, actually there was no funding built in to help employers to pay for the verifications.

So to answer your questions, no i haven't heard of any of the things you typed above as they were inaccurate. but good try

A few billion here, a trillion there, another few billion here -- Obama believes in increasing our debt, spending money like there's no tomorrow. He'll throw billions at Mexico and every other country that wants handouts from us.

We're not ever going to pay down the debt. Might as well give Mexico $10 trillion and just keep upping the debt.

700 million employing border patrol, more check point throughout border states, and building more observations towers on the US side......at least that employs and defends.Yeah, we need to defend ourselves from the country we woo constantly.

We've been so lax about Mexico and the border for decades, nothing is going to fix it short of an armed standoff at the border.
I agree. How is providing MORE money to Mexico going to change their corrupt government system. You cannot just THROW money at a problem and expect it to magically disappear! If any money needs to be spent, it is to reinforce border security!

Now that being said, I don't think we should throw away 700 million dollars to the Mexican government that is falling apart at the seams (the sad thing is, the Mexican government has a really good constitution...it's just not - or cannot be - enforced). This is just a cover and a front for the real underlying problem: our drug habit.

If we simply legalize the drug(s), we put the drug cartels out of business overnight. Problem is solved without sending insane amounts of money to Mexico and without stacking a ridiculous amount of troops at the border (which would cost a pretty penny to do so).

Throwing money at the problem never solved anything. It only creates more problems and leaves the money thrower - i.e. us - in even more debt.
I'm sick and tired of Mexico's problems being blamed on the US. Drug use is mostly frown upon in the US and is illegal so how can you blame the US for Mexico's drug cartel problem? If Mexico's government had created an environment that allowed its citizens to prosper and flourish like we have in the US, then there would not be so many desperate citizens who resort to a life of crime to improve their lot in life! If our nation's druggies really drove the demand, then why doesn't the US or Canada have the whole drug cartel issues that Mexico has? Simply, the US and Canada does not have the level of corruption that is the legacy of Mexican government!
