With Monday's massive volcano eruption in Alaska likely to leave Anchorage and Gov. Sarah Palin's hometown covered in ash, a Democratic strategist sends over the reminder that just a month and a half ago, another up-and-coming Republican star, Gov. Bobby Jindal, mocked the very notion of volcano monitoring.
What goes around DOES come around, but I think you enter dangerous territory when you equate any natural force with intention or punishment! It is abominable that some think that Katrina hit New Orleans because of the life style of some of the people that live. Let's not be guilty of doing the same thing. Hurrancanes, Tornado's, Earthquakes, Floods, Volcano's happen. . . . that's just the reality of living on this planet!
So now we are mocking natural disasters? Have some respect.
