Jindal Versus The Volcano

With Monday's massive volcano eruption in Alaska likely to leave Anchorage and Gov. Sarah Palin's hometown covered in ash, a Democratic strategist sends over the reminder that just a month and a half ago, another up-and-coming Republican star, Gov. Bobby Jindal, mocked the very notion of volcano monitoring.

Default The Common Ground

I find a funny parallel between the two darlings of the GOP...
Jindal:
Witchcraft: Treated his girlfriend
USGS: Affected by hurricanes

Palin:
Witchcraft: Favorite pastor was a witch doctor
USGS: Affected by volcanoes and earthquakes

I wonder who Limbaugh will pick for his ticket in 2012.

Default What comes around goes around

Really? So you're going to open a message board and some idiot is going to post 50 pointless threads a day?

What goes around DOES come around, but I think you enter dangerous territory when you equate any natural force with intention or punishment! It is abominable that some think that Katrina hit New Orleans because of the life style of some of the people that live. Let's not be guilty of doing the same thing. Hurrancanes, Tornado's, Earthquakes, Floods, Volcano's happen. . . . that's just the reality of living on this planet!

I wish I could edit my first post...I was trying to agree with the OP but I think I did not word my post clearly.
