"Chavez described Barack Obama as a 'poor ignoramus' during a televised national address on Sunday after saying that the US president had accused him of 'exporting terrorism'."

LINK

I really could care less about what Chavez thinks or says but, I find it interesting how Obama is being perceived in the rest of the world. The left made such a big deal about how Bush was perceived, I wonder what they think of this.

I think when folks talked about Bush's perception around the world, they were referring to our allies, largely. Not so much demagogues like Chavez.

Sean Penn's head must be spinning. He doesn't know what to think now.

There was another thread as well - honestly, if its been more than 6 hours since the 'news' event and there is any possibility of making Obama look bad, you can bet there's already several threads about it.

I swear, a few of our posters give the impression that they don't actually read the forums, but they are very excited about the possibility of posting bad news, so much they don't bother to check for duplicate threads. This is based on the number of repeat threads even on the first page in the forum.

The other thread about the same thing - all within the last couple of days.

One could argue that Obama is also a demagogue.

What about England after the way he treated brown or France after his letter to Chirac? I think it is just a matter of time before he somehow offends the rest of our allies. So far he has been a gaffe machine.

Well, I'm sure you've got your threads all set for when that day comes. It'll be like Christmas, huh?

In the meantime, I think a negative word from Chavez about ANY American leader is pretty dog-bites-man.

After all these years I'm surprised the CIA hasn't done something about this scoundrel.

I find it quite humorous considering how the left claimed the "world" loves obama!

He has not even been in office that long and he is well on his way to alienating important allies! And stirring up those who already hate us because he is not viewed as a strong President, but a idiot.
