Topics should be limited to the cause of the market, we can discuss the affect (i.e. the lower drop in the down) fairly if we can list the cause. Unless we can make comments on what Obama did to cause the market to fall today (nothing that I know of), the postings of what the DOW is doing today is fruitless because the market will go up or down.
Imagine the big party that would be going on if the announcement was bankruptcy instead. Imagine the nose dive then.
I think we would have been better off allowing AIG and C to go bankrupt, it surely would have been a lot cheaper to the taxpayers, let alone a 50% drop in the dow..
Than you hold the wrong position in the market. My stocks climbed another 10% today and I'm holding stocks that I'll sell tomorrow for another 10% gain..
