Imagine heading up the financial products division, then denying any responsibility for the misdeeds of that division.
Many of these people were just hired by the government to turn AIG around, they were not part of the mess. Truth be told, the government caused a lot of this debt, have you asked that Congress return their pay or work for $1?
No.. the crap is that they got it in the FIRST PLACE
Then perhaps you are TOTALLY CLUELESS that the bonus's were contractually agreed to PRIOR TO any issues with AIG. And that if AIG had not paid them as agreed - AIG would have then become obligated for 3 times the bonus amount plus other damages - and that all legal reviews back this up.
And the 90% take crap - was just that - crap. Illegal as hell.
Yeah, they should be more then happy making $1 a year, ooh your class envy.
Must suck to be envy of someone who makes $1 a year
What the **** does class envy have to do with a bunch of executive jerk offs who recieved bonuses they didn't deserve for a company they tanked
That's not class envy.. that's freakin common sense.. I didn't complain about it when we didn't know how badly the companies were doing.. but after the horrible job they all did.. they don't deserve to make a freaking DIME..let alone millions

Gd.. just because it was in some stupid contract doesn't make it right AIG promised money they didn't even have to pay something they never could have paid if they didn't get taxpayers dollars
Am I the only one who thinks that the $1 salary might be a gimmick to ensure enrolling in that ex-employee bonus program that AIG was running? Ex-employees couldn't get salary but contracts were designed to ensure they continued getting bonuses.
