Yet, we've come a long way in just seven months. Last August, only 25% of Americans surveyed in our IBD/TIPP Poll agreed with the statement, "The U.S. is evolving into a socialist state." But when asked again this month, the number jumped to 39%.

We may be seeing the beginning of totalitarianism. There is very little tolerance for an opposing viewpoint, much less the "reaching across the aisle" false promise.

Formative stage? Did you flunk American history? President Obama hasn't done anything that hasn't been done a thousand times in this country. And if raising the top tax rate to 39%, where it was 8 years ago, is socialism, then I question your sanity.

So more of the US thinks we are headed toward Socialism yet Obama's approval numbers are still great and havent gone down???

Maybe you'll get it through your head this time? Most Americans welcome more government involvement as they do in Europe

And again, your use of MOST is highly inaccurate.

These people will stop at nothing to make the U.S. the backbone of a socialized worldwide one currency economy. Jurisprudence will follow.

Less than 100 days, right? Most folks are not blind to reality, pc. Too bad you are. As I wrote, you want it bad, you'll get it bad; however, I hope I never have to honestly say these words: I told you so, idiot.

lol.. Now that the word "socialism" has been repeated 10 million times by Obama-haters, it doesn't have the same impact that it had a few months ago, so now the new word is "totalitarianism", I guess.
