If it costs so much to live in Los Angeles that you can't afford a roof over your head, don't live in California. I take exception with "They have no place else to go."

You know they'll be called "Bushvilles," and appropriately so. They called them "Hoovervilles" back in the Great Depression because it was conservative policies that created them during Hoover's term. The current cities are the result of conservative polices and were created in Bush's term.

So your pathetic attempt to try and fight history and logic will not work. But it's funny to see you try.

Yup, should be called Bushvilles or Shruburbs.

BTW Hoover was Republican but he was quite interventionist in the financial markets from what I have read. Was he really a "conservative"?

More jobs have been lost to Obama's policies in his short time in office than nearly all of Bush's 8 years. And millions more will lose their jobs under Obama's policies.

Obamavilles. Here to stay.

Bush was not a conservative. His expansion of the Government would make any good Liberal envious. Therefore, they should be called "Liberalvilles".

Oh really? More jobs have been lost in the past 2 months than in the past 8 years? Show me the numbers.

Here's 2008 alone:

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The hemorrhaging of American jobs accelerated at a record pace at the end of 2008, bringing the year's total job losses to 2.6 million or the highest level in more than six decades.

If you actually listen, this tent city sprung up last summer, during Bush's term

Folks, until you recognize that ALL of these politicians are the same, nothing is going to change. The infighting between us citizens appears to be what they ALL want, both Democrats and Republicans.

It never ends with the constant quest for buzzwords, does it? Good god. If talk radio didn't exist, I wonder if some folks would know what to call anything...

(By the way, while I'm pretty liberal, this goes for all sides. "Dubya" and "The Shrub" are pretty annoying, just as "Nobama" is. I mean, hey. Freedom of speech. Say what you will. It's just... stupid. Buzzword buzzword. talking point talking point. blahblahblahblahblah.)
