Considering the disarray of the Republican Party, should the Republican Party assume the identity of a Republican Senator like Ron Paul?

Would this not cause the Party to gain public respect?

Does the public respect Rush Limbaugh?

Is Rush Limbaugh a Republican?

Yes, I believe you're right on this.

The winning attributes of a politician, or political party, seem at the time to be size and weight of body and head, and/or bull****ability.

The losing attributes of a politician, or political party, seem at the time to be reason, statesmanship and respect for Republican Law.

These are the weighs of the present time.

Oh, I'd say Rushy is a PERFECT representative of Republicans! They have no one better except for maybe Ann Coulter!

Of course you realize that Limbaugh (sorry; I'm not on a first-name basis with the man) would never in a million years actually go so far as to take on a position of political party leadership. For all his ranting and raving, it's nothing more than puffery. He has a perfectly safe position on the outside looking in. If there was genuine responsibility on his shoulders, all of his inabilities and inadequacies would be exposed. And don't think he doesn't know it. That's the proverbial bottom line, no matter how loudly anyone screams and yells in his defense.

That's WHY, among other things, I think Rushy would be(is) perfect !

Lockstep *******s WANT Rush and Coulter to represent the Republican party, because diplomacy, peace, and sound fiscal policy characterized by Ron Paul Republicans is at the bottom of the agenda. Power and blind party loyalty fuels these lemmings to ram policies through the Congress, and power is better assured if neo-cons like Rush can be attributed to the opposing party.

Obama = More WAR and SPENDING

"""because diplomacy, peace, and sound fiscal policy characterized by Ron Paul Republicans is at the bottom of the agenda. ""

Yup, summed up Repubs quite nicely! Those things ARE at the bottom of their agenda.

Oh, and it isn't just us nice liberals who want Rushy representing the Republicans...it seems to be REPUBLICANS who are advocating him, too!Loving his every word, bragging about his "popularity", listening to his radio show ....

Bush = Unecessary war and spending.
