Smear? Are you kidding me? How many of you smacked out libbies demanded for Bush to be impeached every time he looked at someone the wrong way? Now the shoe is on the other foot, and now you care?

Hell, we are still after Bush/Cheney/Rove.... Just cause they are out of office doesn't mean they get a free pass.

Anything is possible, but I don't think that is the case.

I'm sure something funny popped into his head, unrelated to the economy - simple as that. I'd be curious to know what it was.

Come to think of it, look at Kroft - he always looks like he's about to start laughing himself, even while trying to look serious.
I'd probably start cracking up if he interviewed me.
