I suppose in your world there is no such thing as "it has to start somewhere". Of course, you'd be the first to point out the "two-year" movement that was part of the election cycle. That didn't have to "start somewhere" did it?

Anyone who bothered to read the link would know that it was referring to the potential longevity of the "tea party" movement. One would hope the organizers/advocates expect something more sustainable than people gathering in the public square for a few hours on one day and mugging for Fox News. The article presents several reasons why the whole thing will be forgotten quickly.

It also points out that one day there will be a real protest against the government that will be spontaneous and grassroots, arising from an actual, definable event or circumstance, that will have a longer-lasting effect.

It really is a good piece. You should read it.

funny how many tea party people i was just with in the memphis area were strangly silent for the last 8 years of deficit spending.
