Obama is not up for re-election in 2010. His vested interested is reasonably considerably than those that face expulsion in Congress. Congress is watching. I can assure you.
....and their laughing with the rest of us..If you think the democrat majority Congress cares a great deal about these rallies you're fooling yourself.
You asked, I answered. It sure was a movement, a real movement
I suppose in your world there is no such thing as "it has to start somewhere". Of course, you'd be the first to point out the "two-year" movement that was part of the election cycle. That didn't have to "start somewhere" did it?
If Obama can take time out of his busy schedule to address comments he feels disparaging from Rush,Hannity, Cramer,Santelli etc., it would seem hypocritical to remain quiet on the protests.
Precisely. That fact is conveniently ignored by the left.
Anyone who bothered to read the link would know that it was referring to the potential longevity of the "tea party" movement. One would hope the organizers/advocates expect something more sustainable than people gathering in the public square for a few hours on one day and mugging for Fox News. The article presents several reasons why the whole thing will be forgotten quickly.
It also points out that one day there will be a real protest against the government that will be spontaneous and grassroots, arising from an actual, definable event or circumstance, that will have a longer-lasting effect.
funny how many tea party people i was just with in the memphis area were strangly silent for the last 8 years of deficit spending.
king george get the bluff on them?

its like the cops and the "citizens" they always complain about the ones they always call for help.
