New York Times best-selling author Peter Schweizer destroys popular notions that liberals give more to charity, care more about others, and are happier than conservatives.
I didn't hear before that liberals are happier and they donate more to charity... Who says so? Happiness and charity are personal, individual issues and have nothing with political orientation.

I am not a big Obama fan, but my impression is that recently, attacks on Obama make the majority of threads. Sometimes I seriously doubt the sanity of some posters, who started attacks on him even before the inauguration, speaking of his failures (again, before he even took office). These posters not only let their opinion known, but they find great satisfaction in repeating their words on every post and starting new threads on similar topics. As a matter of fact, almost no other topic has been discussed on the forum.

Did anyone notice that there arose a major economic crisis to deal with? Consumer and business spending plumetting, a few major banks and major chunks of the non-bank sector are in ruins. $15 trillion worth of wealth has evaporated. Do you expect the government to stand back and do nothing??? Would you really rather have had half a trillion dollars in tax cuts for the rich and mega-corporations?

Perhaps his brother doesn't want any kind of help, ever thought of that? Or perhaps it's just unimportant and none of our damn business.
