I don't believe anyone on here scores him on Race!!!! We're scoring based on his performance thus far. So far, 4 of his cabinet personel stepped down because they didn't pay their taxes, His Treasury Sec. is failing miserably, so now Obama is looking for a "More qualified" individual (BTW, Geithner didn't pay his Taxes either. He's spending time on NCAA tournaments rather than running the country. So you see, its absolutely nothing to do with race.
I gave him an "A". I see alot of stubborn denial here - he walked into the worst mess in history -left by 8 years of incompetence. I really don't believe any other human could have done better, given the circumstances and given the short time he's been President. Nit pick - criticize -unless you have solutions, all this crap holds no credibility.
I gave him a D because so far all he's doing is adding trillions of dollars to our national debt which was already unacceptably high and all he's doing is trying to keep the Bush years going by spending billions of non-existent dollars on corrupt failed banks, poorly run corporations, and is now trying to rebuild Bush's housing bubble.
Plus he promised he'd end the war in the Middle East and now it's obvious he doesn't intend to get our guys home from there and he's drumming up a new war with Mexico which will be a disaster. We're getting stretched way too thin.
I'm saving the F for when the economy cannot withstand the trillions dollars in new debt and it begins to collapse.
Hey truthseeker do us all a favor. In about 6 months and then again maybe a year from now, redo this poll. It would be very interesting to watch the numbers fall like housing prices and see how the grading changes with it.
Im actually quite surprised as of this writing 50% said an A when his performance is very obviously an F.

The only thing that saved FDR and his unconstitutional policies was a war As far as B.O. goes a very solid D. I have no problem spending money to get the economy moving. I dont like having socialism crammed down my throat.
Actually, his policies seem to be beginning to work. Many people said the same about FDR when he had to take drastic action to fix conservatism run amok and about Reagan when he had to fix liberalism ran amok. Both turned out to be amongst our best.
My marks for Obama have only risen. I didn't think he'd be as successful as he actually is. But, obviously you would disagree with him no matter what based on ideology alone.
FDR's policies did begin to work. After nine years they were almost starting to put a dent in the double digit unemployment. In fact, Unemployment may have actually dipped below 14% after 1940 had the military draft not come along and screwed everything up. Yeah, the New Deals were a rip roarin' success.
True. All those people who adore FDR and his politicies must want to have a 10-12 year Great Depression with soup lines and 30% unemployment. Why do we think the 30's were so wonderful? FDR did not turn that economy around quickly at all.

He was always a moderate. I'm not sure most people realize that.
He can save capitalism in the same way FDR did, by shoring it up until it restabilizes through programs that support the American people. People disagree with that, but you can do both.
FDR succeeded in doing what every Democrat has tried to do ever since, destroy capitalism so as to make as many people as possible completely dependent on the generosity of the Münchhausen by proxy nanny state thereby insuring their votes in the upcoming election. FDR was so effective at robbing of us our self-determination and personal initiative he had to die in office to get the nation off the dole. The new administration obviously wants to deliberately spend us into bankruptcy Brewster's Trillions style so as to reduce us to socialist serfs who beg for the next spending program like mindless Pavlovian guppies who have discovered the hand brings the food to the surface of the water.
