U.N. 'Climate Change' Plan Would Likely Shift Trillions to Form New World Economy

A United Nations document on "climate change" that will be distributed to a major environmental conclave next week envisions a huge reordering of the world economy, likely involving trillions of dollars in wealth transfer, millions of job losses and gains, new taxes, industrial relocations, new tariffs and subsidies, and complicated payments for greenhouse gas abatement schemes and carbon taxes — all under the supervision of the world body.

I didn't realize an opinion piece from Fox News was considered "truth". LOL.

Good! We have pumped more CO2 into the air this century, and yet the temperature average has steadily dropped, and has been below normal for two years now, how the heck can that be possible?

Some "Inconvenient Truths" regarding CO2 and global warming:

1) Historically, atmospheric CO2 rises after warming begins, not before.

2) Atmospheric levels of CO2 have risen about 30 percent over the past 200 years, and it has warmed over the past 200 years (See #1).

3) Atmospheric levels of CO2 have been higher and lower in the past.

4) Global average temperature is about one degree F higher than 100 years ago, during the middle of the LIA.

5) Global average temperature has been stable since 1998, and may even be declining.

6) Global average temperature has been higher and lower in the past, and will do so in the future.

7) The sun's radiance, our source of warmth, cycles about every 1500 years, and has for about the past 2.9 million years. We are near the end of a cycle now. The sun has far greater influence on the Earth's temperature than all of the tailpipes and smokestacks combined.

8) Emissions from combustion (of hydrocarbons) contribute about 2 percent of green house gases annually.

9) Only about 3 percent of CO2 emissions are manmade.

10) The impact of manmade GHG's on warming seems to be logarithmic, not linear. With each additional contribution, the effect is less and less.

11) CO2 is neither a toxin nor a pollutant,.

12) The Greenhouse Effect is vital to life on Earth. Without it our planet would resemble Mars.

13) If fully implemented, the Kyoto Protocol would only deter .04 degrees C of temperature increase, but at a cost of trillions of dollars to the US alone, and cause grave consequences to our economy and cause needless suffering on our lives.

14) Al Gore's movie was so full of mistruths and deceptions that a British court recently found that it needed a disclaimer stating it contained "11 material falsehoods", and was "a political work that only promoted one side of the argument".

15) Al Gore is not a scientist. In fact, he received a D in Natural Sciences
