Once again, political correctness wil be the death knell of this great nation. Leave it in, it's history. As a Yankee by birth and a Southerner by choice, it's much ado about nothing.

Keep it, learn from it. If you abolish all this southern stuff, there will be no little kid "asking why and what." And if they don't ask why and what, they won't understand why it's offensive these days. And if history is never up for discussion, it could repeat.
