Granted, the problem I had was that the whole intention was for her to equate internment camps and our treatment of the japenese with Gitmo and "Bush's" war on terror and our treatment of Arabs in this country today. Fortunately my son is smart enough to see right through her blantant liberal bias.

well, that's one of those issue to be discussed, rather than outright preached. I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I'd understand that someone would.

Well in that case, the teacher was showing an appalling lack of historical context as well as a lack of understanding of current events. She was clearly a moron and I would hope you would challenge her on her complete misrepresentation of the internment of US citizens of Japanese descent.

Wait till they find out the government was running mind control experiments in the 50's. They did get caught though only to do it again in the 70's. I'm sure they wouldn't do that today though. Darn Cold War....
