Nothing is more ridiculous than a peace march that gets violent, don't you think???
Harborlady, I think you're on the same page as most here just saying it differently or contending with people who just want to argue.
The one thing I do find interesting is when was the last time you've seen a conservative group riot or loot? Most at these tea parties are of a conservative or middle of the road belief.
I seriously (not being a smart a$$) wonder why that is?

Honestly I have never seen an actual conservative group gathering for protest. Conservatives usually have banquet fund raisers for their issues ROFL.

Religious fundies I've seen get quite ugly, embarassingly enough, catholics (my alma mater). You might recall abortion clinic bombers and murdering doctors in parking lots in the name of right to life? Those are also the individuals calling themselves conservatives.

People are very angry on all sides. It's about a million issues, about feeling powerless to influence their own government for a long time now. I'm just worried that the longstanding habit people have gotten into (not using the proper channels through representation) just feed that lack of faith in democracy to a point where they just vent in the worst way. I'm hearing that noise from the right. Democracy is a use it or lose it muscle, and it needs excercise.

BTW, who exactly is paying the insurance when the left wingnut anarchists protest? You know, like the ones is Seattle did during the last "G" summit that was held there? The one where they trashed downtown... Yes that one..
Did the city of Seattle ban the left wingnut protesters until such a policy was purchased? No?
It's a local call.
I'm sure the law wasn't just enacted to stop this action.
When there are protests, parades, etc. there is always a fee. Police service is usually required, clean up, etc.

Got a link to the second paragraph?
Does Seattle charge for any activities.
It's a local call.

Again, you can't see any action unless you look at it through your partisan glasses.

Off to the twit filter, you have nothing valuable to add to any conversation as far as I'm concerned.

Dr joey it pays to realize that you cannot expect to have adult conversations with those lacking capacity. As southerners say- that dog don't hunt.

I do use the word retarded to describe behavior, even applying to inanimate objects. It's not an insult directed towards mentally handicapped, and they don't align/ identify themselves with that word. I also use the word n*ggardly, which has nothing to do with black people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/*****rdly <--- CD forum won't allow you to spell it out fully to avoid incendiary arguments I suppose. Either way, it's the english language, and if someone wants to assign a meaning to phil collins 'susuidio', then villify it the next day as something else, it's all in their heads.

Talk about partisan glasses! Do you really think the anarchists took out an insurance policy? You know, those fools that broke windows, looted, rioted etc? What would that even look like? Was it an AIG policy? I'll play your game, prove they did.

Harborlady. I know exactly who you are. From the inside out. I presume to know you because I was you. Do you really think your a mystery?

If you see the light don't look directly at it.
It will blind you.
