They love their country. They allow people to have their freedom. They may not agree with gay marriage but the government does not discriminate.

Their taxes and items are expensive but other than that, GREAT COUNTRY.

Canada is progressive and yes, I do feel America and Americans should learn from our brothers and sisters up North.
Regarding taxes, you know what? You get what you pay for (or don't pay for). Nations with high taxes often have better schools, extensive mass transit, socialized medicine and good "safety nets", in case s**t happens (which it often does, through no fault of your own).

I'm just tired of the bashing...it's about time people stood up to defend the "other side of the story".

Something like that.

Oh yeah, probably helps to have tons of natural resources like natural gas and oil and have a more homogeneous and self-sufficient population (aka fewer minority groups). Yes, whether you want to view it as "racist" or not, there is also a statistical correlation of prosperity between countries positioned further from the equator to those closer to the equator.

Norway is the most socialistic country in the world. In the early 90's my husbands cousins came to visit. They said Levis cost $100 a pair, 70 is tax. Their father had to wait 2 yrs for open heart surgery and it takes 6 months to see the doctor. Nothing is free. In Englund after the age of 60, the government health system doesn't want any expensive procedures done. In Canada you cannot pay to see a doctor not in your health plan. Why do you think so many Canadians flood to the US. In Windsor, Canada they come over like crazy. Remember Hilarys health care plan she tried to shove down our throats after the Clintons came into office? If a doctor treated someone outside of his group he would go to jail. Hmmm, is this want you want?

LMAO!

Except you got one thing wrong. America is not the rotten. Just the Republicans and their policies.

Canada is a beautiful country. Why do Republicans have a issue with saying another country may be better?

My god. Chill out Rotten Republicans.

It would help if you'd be able to spell "England", otherwise it just reinforces the belief that you are spouting more of the same bull**** and lies.

Very typical of Republicans.

Uneducated and just cry "SOCIALISM" at anything.

Call it pride and I didn't realize that was a partisan thing.
Why not go live with your relatives in Canada if you think it so much nicer?
I'm tired of know it all twenty somethings running our country down.
