I am with you on that one. While at it, their government sponsored health care program should be made optional too. So, the politicians who don't believe in a government run program can opt out of it and find their own insurance from a private company like everybody else is expected to.

If you work for one of these TARP recipients you may qualify for Barney Control. If your name is Fannie or Freddie, you may get to be a Unit Leader.

Of course, after the bill is in place you can expect the usual government creep... expansion that is, not necessarily a government worker. So, if your company receives any government subsidy you can expect that creep to knock on your door as well.

Those industries would be...

Farming/Agriculture of corn, wheat, feed grains, sorghum, barley, oats, cotton, milk, rice, peanuts, sugar, tobacco, oilseeds, soybeans, etc. etc. etc...

Commodities goods: Biodeisel, Alochol, Methanol, Urea Fertilizer, Steel, wind power generation, solar power generation...

Services: Mass Transit (Bussing, Amtrak, subways, metros, airlines), "free" health care, child care, "Family Planning", adoption, research...

If your company files government documents it'll be on the list some day soon.

By all means, this will no longer be your grandfather's U.S.A. America's Greatest Generation may have turned back a Fascist bastard but the creeps in DC will destroy the country from within.

I like how the banks have been getting billions for over 1 year and no one is bringing them to task.

Medicare and Social Security are for the old, infirm, unemployed, indigent and needy. None of which any Congressman considers him/herself. To them, THIS IS THEIR JOB which means their goal is a corner office on the top floor with a view.

We the people need to change that to it's temporary quarters, don't get excited and tell the wife you'll be back.

My point on health insurance was that the politicians who don't like a government run program should be able to opt out of it and find their own private insurance, to be consistent with their rhetoric. This reform to go with salary and other benefit changes.
