What do you think would impress her? These "old money" types aren't impressed with material goods, and there are probably rules against her keeping anything of great value. Well if you could maybe post a link that said that...oh I don't know, that the Queen of England doesn't have proper power plugs for different wattage, then maybe I'll be more inclined to believe it. As of right now, I find that 100% suspect, as even I as an american citizen knew to bring different ones when I went overseas. And I definitely ain't the queen of england.

After watching the film, The Queen (most excellent btw) and the PBS/BBC documentary, the Royals at Work .... I think she's as much fun as she needs to be. From what I understand, that picture of she and Philip is standard issue for state guests. She should have given his a can of Spotted Dick and some Marmite to take home!

Perhaps, since the Queen already has an iPod, she already has the proper cord to charge it? Also, perhaps Buckingham Palace and the various royal residences have converters so that they can use what American electronics they may choose?
Or do you think that the royal family is less intelligent and less accustomed to adapting than you?
