[Note: I really don't care what you answer. I'm not really interested. I'm just pointing out how silly and transparent your OP was.]
PS. You haven't answered my point. You had two answers to your "simpleton question" right off the bat. And yet, just a couple comments ago you were crowing about "nobody answers my question! Ha!" When will you be correcting yourself?
Are you some kind of Rand-bot running on autopilot or something?
I love it! What a turn of phrase! I'm stealing it rightnow. Next time someone is explaining to me how being a greedy selfish pig is the only rational philosophy, after they've finished explaining to me how Abe Lincoln won the Cold War by dropping the A-bomb on Whitaker Chambers, I'm going to whip this on them!
OH God! Is this one of those simpleton anti-tax questions?? Where if I say No, you say then how are taxes moral?????
It's a Gotcha question right?
Yep, its a gotcha question. Of course its wrong. HOWEVER, we do live in a society and we all benefit from that society. We do, therefore, have certain obligations to that society. This results in such things as taxes, a military draft and conscripting attorneys to provide a legal defense to those who cannot afford it. Is this socialism in a capitalist society? You bet. But we need a certain amount of socialism to make society work.
I am surprised no-one seems to discuss the actual link's premise....
