I've must have seen the tired, old and worn-out phrase "Faux News" on this board a hundred times.

So, vote here, should use of that word be banned on this site or should it be allowed, along with MS"LSD" and ClintonNewsNetwork?

No more than Obamination, Obots, etc. should be banned.
Have a problem with free speech these days?

Might want to look up the word faux, it fits (even if it is French).

Thats the problem. You think we need to look it up.
I say keep it. It will be interesting to see how long that phrase will keep them amused.

It's been used for at least a decade.
Accurate descriptions seem to stick.

Let them have it. I like the one for MSNBC better anyway: MSNDCV MSNDeceive.

No, it shouldn't. Who cares? The liberal idiots cannot have every news media outlet skewed to their way of brainwashing so they stamp their feet and cry over Fox News. It is laughable!

Crying over Faux?
Laughing that it calls itself news, enjoying that it gets to apologize for articles that are debunked weekly, absolutely.
Crying, I don't think so.

News Bias Explored

Perhaps "faux" should have been Murdoch's choice to begin with. It's the only channel where the talking heads vilify Obama's use of teleprompters while they're reading from teleprompters themselves.

Free speech doesn't apply to a privately owned website.

I voted that it should be banned simply because I'm so tired of skipping over posts using the words and I wanted to see extra votes in that column.

But truthfully it doesn't matter to me. We all know that Fox News is a viable, extremely popular and top rated cable news station. It's winning in the ratings because most thinking Americans go there for their news to achieve the balance which they're not getting on network news or other cable news.

But name calling is for children and if the children here want to use it, I say go ahead. Some posters clearly have no real communication skills and need to resort to name calling to try to support their views.

Simply negating another point of view with a skew on a word doesn't make the truth go away.

Fox News is crying all the way to the bank.
