Can anyone tell me? Was this trip absolutely neccesary? He did take 500 staffers with him didnt he? Are the taxpayers footing the bill for thier 5 star accomodations? for thier meals and rental cars?

What answer do you want, that the president should not have gone? And if he wouldn't have gone, I'm sure you'd find something to say about that as well. Oh ELO, come on, aren't you getting tired of always having something to nag about?

No, i would not have complained if he stayed in the whit house working for the people that elected him during the worst financial crisis in 70 years. Instead, he is palling around Europe selling our soveringhty to the lowest bidder

We never know how much the President and the adminstrations travel cost the tax payers. NEVER. Every year the adminstration travels to some form of summit. This G20 summit, i believe is the first of its kind due to whats going on. However the President will travel with a large team including the secret service, CIA, FBI when visiting these countries. This is not outside of the norm if that is what your asking.

I just thought it was cute he brought along 12, yes 12 teleprompters. He's such a planner. 500 staff + 250 security guards and 12 little teleprompters
