Its ok Jody you are wasting your breathe on explaining the issues.
They would rather talk about other things. They will only complain and be sorry when it happens and the is worth nothing. Even after it is over they will look for another government solution and a even more corrupt solution as it gets another 48 hour bill review in congress and we are controlled by the IMF. Talking to these people about money is like talking to them about the constitution nobody cares just do what you need to do those who heard the message are ready.

Ron Paul 2012.

I can agree with this strongly as well. Any other professional, or even ordinary citizen, operating equipment or practicing medicine, is obliged to carry insurance for the potential liability that exceeds their actual contribution. Everyone else is accountable for their actions by writ, but these fellows have given themselves exception. I think that's inconsistent with the laws of our land.

Ron Paul 2012.
Ron Paul has no chance of winning anything when his supporters have contempt for 95% of this country. The problem with ordinary citizens is that the specialty training of their careers leaves them with little knowlege base to make intelligent decisions about such over reaching policies. We are all at the mercy of an 'expert', and all too often these experts make their living fueled by political propaganda machines.

You will either spend your time educating people respectfully about the issues, or you will continue to be Ron Pauls worst advertisement. Similarly, those selling doom and gloom tales of armagedon are not constructively helping any cause you feel is urgent. Logic, reason, and countering disinformation with fact is the only way to win those votes. That and a solid plan forward.

I see that advice went on deaf ears and degenerated to stuck on stupid. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome.

Well you can look at your comments on two levels and from two perspectives. I believe the point you were making is that people will stop being so "greedy" and borrowing for the new SUV or larger house. I'd like to look at another perspective.

One aspect of the "me mentality" that you see emerging is based on class warfare. The new "me mentality" feels slighted that others have success or material things, and the new "me mentality" wants to punish those people and take their wealth. These new "me mentality" folks think that the "average" person is more deserving, and of course they count themselves among that group, and so they feel entitled to take from others to give to thermselves.
