I agree it's hypocritical of them but we should still take the higher road and show some respect for our elected president.

tl;dr: Stop disrespecting the President of the United States.
I say let them criticize. It's an easy way to identify among the haters, who hasn't a clue, and which people are part of the problem.

Are you defining as "haters" those that don't care for or disgree with President Obama's policies?

Sorry that I was impolite to the Animal Farm-equivalent of the black pig.
How would the U.S. turn into third world? Oh, you mean because of immigration? Waahhh that's what this country was made of, for those of you on your high horses who obviously & conveniently forgot this little tidbit. But, if that is not what you're referring to, then pray tell, what is it?

This guy works for us not the other way around. He shows us respect. A great way to do that is to stop taking over private industries and making special rules for specific classes of people. They use our money to grab more and more power. And now I see this...

SEC. 18. CYBERSECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHOR

The President—(1) within 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, shall develop and implement a comprehensive national cybersecurity strategy, which shall include—

(B) a plan that encompasses all aspects of national security, including the participation of the private sector, including critical infrastructure operators and managers;(2) may declare a cybersecurity emergency and order the limitation or shutdown of Internet traffic to and from any compromised Federal government or United States critical infrastructure information system or network;

If those who hated Bush bashed him, they can't expect the Obama haters to keep their mouths shut.

I wanted to and did give him a chance. He blew it (for me, anyway). Not only is he spending like an aircraft carrier's worth of drunken sailors, but he's also proven himself to be a flat-out liar. He's passed the two largest tax increases in U.S. history, despite his claim that 95% of citizens wouldn't see any of their taxes increase.

Obama is - very quickly - destroying this country. We'll be lucky to survive four years of this madness.

The most frightening thing about all of this is that there's still people cheerleading him on in his frenzied destruction...

The honeymoon's over, guys. It's time you woke up and realized that the person you chose to marry only married you for your money.
I was hoping to give him a chance. then he hired some of the worst crooks from chicago to help him fleece this country. The man talked of bipartisanship while pushing a far left agenda and putting in cabinet members that are even more extreme. How can there be bipartisanship when he is unwilling to compromise?

President Obama, on the other hand, has been vilified since he entered the
presidential primaries. The RW refuses to acknowledge any positive trait or policy of President Obama, and the ridiculous topics pushed by the GOP as
serious issues do little to affect his poll numbers. This productive trip to Europe must be particularly galling; I well remember the day when photos,
drawings and magazine covers of President Kennedy adorned walls across the globe, and Obama inspires people in the same way, like it or not.
The level of venom against this man is incredible, and it's embarrassing to
wonder what the rest of the world thinks as they watch how we are handling having an bi-racial president. As an Illinoisian who paid some attention to him when he was in the Illinois State Senate and of course the U.S. Senate, it's apparent that he was vastly underestimated by the
opposition. President Obama deserves to be judged by whether his policies
are successful or not, instead of pure opposition.
There was a day when intelligent discussions between two mature people
were handled with basic civility and gentility. President Obama deserves nothing less.
you mean in those other elections where he forced out his opponents?
We disagree about his policies, plain and simple. A lot of his policies are giving even the democrats in congress concern, of course the republicans are going to be against his big spending agenda.
