Food for libertarian thought and I thought I would ask fellow libertarians what your take is?
In regards to libertarian principles, is North Korea within its rights to launch a missile over Japan?
In short we all know what happened, North Korea launched the missile and it flew over Japan, without any damages to Japanese property.
A common libertarian theme regarding airspace rights above your property extends only up to what you use, for example any structures like houses and windmills, even antennae.
However this same logical application, gives permission to use the North Korea missile for Zsu-23 target practice shooting, if the Japanese so desire.
However this can be debated in many different directions, what do you think?

The right is theirs, due to them being a sovereign communist nation where the people don't have the stones to know that liberty is worthy of fighting to the death.
They also have the right to be blown off the map if they threaten other sovereign nations that have no interest in taking their sovereignty.
They have the right to test fire anything that does not intrude on somebody elses airspace. What if it had malfunctioned? If they were test firing a missile for a satellite system, and had not already threatened to wipe Japan and S. Korea off the planet, I would say it was none of our business.
We have the right, however, to retaliate or preemptively protect ourselves if they threaten us, regardless of whether they actually act upon that threat. In today's nuclear environment, one cannot wait around to determine if they are serious or just asking for attention.

Hope that makes sense.
It makes total sense...pre-emptive strikes to ensure our own protection are an extension of the Cold War era of Mutually Assured Destruction...except in this day and age the goal is to get to them before they get to us. I support that fully.
I'd say no they don't have the right to launch anything that would violate another nation's boundaries. I consider airspace to be within the boundaries of a nation and a missile that could break apart and fall towards populated areas would certainly violate that boundary.

We do it all the time. Who are we to say another country can't have a satellite? It's BS...we don't rule the world.
Actually the whole world is on our welfare system, therefore we use this to have a say in how they behave.
Under agreements that the lying N. Koreans signed. Firing missiles, especially one's that can go far, are illegal. Purely based on them agreeing to it, because we ......FEED THEM!

What agreement are you referring to? If we're feeding the North Koreans we're doing a lousy job, because they're starving.
