What obama is invoking is far, far beyond the privileges bush invoked when it comes to state secrets, wire-tapping, Patriot Act.

this is indeed quite strange. leftists shrieked non-stop for years about bush doing this, and suddenly it's okay, even when taken to the next level. why no ululations of grief over destroyed rights and shredded constitutions?
i guess they really weren't all that troubled by it after all.
