Don't mention it. Your words speak volumes.
everyone's parents die irrespective of the timing one's own death. I can't believe I have to explain that but then again I am dealing with the left.

Re: Dick Cheney shooting his friend - There was much humor in Mr. Cheney's poor handling of his weapon, and all that I heard regarding the injured man was that everyone hoped he'd be okay (and stay away from Cheney's gun).

Re: your last paragraph. Do you really think that it's appropriate to bash someone whenever their name comes up? Then I really feel sorry for you and the miserable life you must lead. A person who sees condolences as an opportunity to bash has quite a cruel streak. Do you also kick the crutches out from under the crippled?

Oh, and I am not the OP, so don't even try that.
Wow. I don't even know where to begin.

Did you even read my post, or did you just blindly shift into defense mode?

I don't know why I bother with this forum. Nobody pays any attention or considers the words written, they just try to see who can attack the most forcefully. It's a giant **** waving contest (yes, even for the women).

These expressions of sorrow between taking a sip of pepsi and your next game of bejeweled is a crock. Its all a bunch of pointless blather.
Look around, buddy. You're on a message board. An internet forum. Every word we type is pointless. No one bats an eye when folks use those pointless words to say terrible, awful things to each other or attack leaders or compare fill-in-the-blank to Hitler or Mussolini. But type a few words expressing condolences, and you're all atwitter.
