Let me get this straight we are going into a deep depression, unemployment at 15.6 percent (US gov figgers) revised, Crime going up due to people out of work and Pelosi wants to ban guns that people need to defend there families. Yes some guns are more powerful than others, most of the high powered guns used in crimes are not registered by the person doing the crime. So if I have equal firepower to the Bad Guy and mine are registered, I am suppose to give mine up? Like he..

And again. What precisely were you deprived of under the previous "assault gun ban?"

I do not provide any information to anyone, I have bought all my firearms privately and none is needed.

last AWB I was deprived of my right to protect myself with the best firearms that I could own, and the highest capacity magazines I could own as well.

It just completely astounds me - that in the face of an economic upheaval and millions of people out of work - that these politicians remain fixed and obsessed with taking away gun rights. this is a NON ISSUE! Holyjeez politicians - there are people losing their homes!!! Do your jobs - fix the mess you all created - Get on the ball and fix the real problems here.
If you really want to help gun violence, take the $$ you would use to administrate new gun laws and put that same money into programs that fight drug abuse and mental health problems.

Seems they'd rather deal with ANY side issue at all rather than focus on the main issues wrong today.

Actually you WERE prevented from owning new firearms....

You seem ignorant of the ban that was put in place.

What is the point of the proposed ban?

Untrue....

Perhaps in states lacking freedom this is what is needed but not in free states.

It will be interesting. At least 42 of the 50 states are loosening gun laws and giving the people more places to carry with fewer restrictions.

Then the federal govt wants to clamp down on gun rights. Could be a major problem resulting from this disagreement.

I think Pulosi actually owns stock in gun manufacturers. People like her, Obama & the crew have done a lot to boost gun sales.

There is a huge demand for ammo, nowadays it's in short supply and there is usually an hour wait to get into gun shows.

Precisely what myself and others said would happen. Anyone who trusts these people (Pelosi et al) with their civil rights is ignoring reality...
NO WAY!!! Obama promised he didn't want our guns!!!
