I forgot the exact figures, but it is something like 4% control 80% of the wealth in America. Well, logically, that 4% should be paying 80% of the taxes.

Not saying New York is fair, by the way. I don't know New York's tax laws.

How would it be fair that 4% pay 80% of the taxes do those people consume 80% of the city's resources?

I think the free loaders think the people pulling the wagon(all actual taxpayers) are going to continue to pulling the wagon for all eternity. Not so. I can bet you'll have plenty of people move elsewhere. These 42,000 people should be THANKED and instead they are ostracized.

There are a lot of stupid and lazy people out there. The good times are up. obama can only float you for so long.

So...you interpreted this to mean that this noble 42,000 shoulder the city resident tax burden, and the other 50% are "freeloading"?

NYC suffers from the very same problem that Washington suffers from.. DEBT.. NYC Comptroller's Office Bureau of Budget

Its not a lack of income, its excessive spending.
