She has no chance at all. Fortunately, the majority of people realize that Sarah Palin is insane.

Based on what??? She became Mayor of a debt free town, population a few thousand. She was unable to fullfill the duties of Mayor and for the first time ever the city had to hire a City Administrator to run day to day city business. When she left the position, she also left the town several million dollars in debt (I read one estimate of $20M) a result of poor decision making on her part. The town, once a beautiful lake side community is now an ugly strip mall with a contaminated lake.

Oil prices were at an all time high when she became Governor which resulted in a good Alaska economy. Now that gas prices are down, the state is $1B in debt. As evidenced by recent events, she's an egotistical, dictator who wants her way or there is no way! Juneau is still without representation because she won't follow state law.

Her education?? A journalism degree (based on her media knowledge, I think someone else took her classes)for which she had to attend 5 or 6 different colleges to finally acheive.

Is there a Cabinet position for helicopter wolf shooting?

I have no qualms about her being given a position in the GOP administration in 2012. Especially given the new appointee to the Pentagon by the left loon nutjobs infesting the present administration. I feel for Bob Gates, one of the few aligned with this marxist regime who still has his sanity and rationale intact.

Palin Family Dramas Shake Political Clout

"It's been an embarrassing week for [Mrs. Palin] and seems like a train wreck in slow motion," said Robert Watson, a professor of American Studies and presidential historian at Florida's Lynn University. "In politics, perception is reality ... and all of this feeds into the very ugly caricature of her on 'Saturday Night Live,' which has been exploited and will continue to be. It seems to me that if it doesn't stop soon, I think it could eventually turn into a major political liability."

It's a shame that, instead of doing her job as Governor during this economic crisis, she is in Indiana campaigning. She rejected hundreds of millions in stimulus money that would help Alaskans and then she gets on a plane to promote herself? Is this someone Americans want even near the White House?

She isn't doing so well up there in Alaska either....

"The Alaska Legislature voted 35 to 23 today to reject the confirmation of Wayne Anthony Ross, Gov. Sarah Palin's pick for attorney general. According to Legislative Research, today's rejection of Ross is the first time in state history that a head of a state agency has failed to be confirmed by the Legislature. All the Democrats in the Legislature voted against Ross, but they were joined by nine Republicans, including the Senate president and House speaker."

Her rating appear high but when the poll is taken in only one Alaska city and only 200 are polled, the ratings are meaningless. This vote, IMO, indicates the Governor has lost the faith of the Alaska Legislators and the citizens they represent.

President in 2012? She'll be lucky to get re-elected Governor in 2010.
