what is anti green? why would someone hate a color?
Good question. Why do so many "pro-life" conservatives hate the color that sustains life on our planet?
Recent study says 300,000 people a year killed by the effects of global warming.
tick, tock, tick, tock....
I don't understand why this is even a debate. We should all wish to stop polluting and create both jobs and the technologies of a new era. Why do so many fight this progress and seek to hold strong to primitive, archaic technologies?
No reason the free market couldn't end pollution if the will were there, but so many fight so hard to prevent progress.

nice fear mongering, and what does a pro life conservative have to do with anything? can you elaborate on this strange post?
"Sulfates, which come primarily from the burning of coal and oil, scatter incoming solar radiation and have a net cooling effect on climate. Over the past three decades, the United States and European countries have passed a series of laws that have reduced sulfate emissions by 50 percent. While improving air quality and aiding public health, the result has been less atmospheric cooling from sulfates."
Sounds different, and NASA scientists are generally well regarded.
Holy smoke stack Algore!!! what do we do now? They used to be well regarded, now they are just right wing hacks!

No we fight so hard to prevent nonsense!! Could you please provide a link to the exact cause of death of those 300,000? While we are building windmills and solor panels the rest of the world, china and russia are going to be drilling oil and using it and we will all be over her with our thumbs up our butts begging for mercy. No thanks!! Drill here and Drill now!!

What "global warming?" It is now referred to as "climate change" because data is showing that the peak warming was in 1998.

It doesn't matter, ppl die all the time from natural disasters. Global warming is mainly a natural occurence. We should be doing more to protect our cities most vulnerable instead of frightening people with environmental fundamentalism and the cost associated with that goal.

well then we dont need to change a thing then do we ? cant stop mother nature!

Largely correct. Fossil fuels do create pollution and smog in our cities that have health consequences... but if you elimante them with something that isn't viable or causes economic despair - i don't think it is worth it. As a long term goal - we should go green but as long as it is progressive and viable and doesn't negatively impact quality of life by moving too fast.
no evidence to support this belief. While nature could be playing a role for sure (perhaps even the flipping magnetism), most scientists agree that the correlation between our industrial revolution and the increase in greenhouse gases is too great to simply be coincidence.
