Your car is registered.....are we trying to ban your car???....LOL
Convicted felons cannot be required to register their guns because that would force them to confess to the crime of illegally owning a gun.

Here we go again with the victimization meme... it's clear she's referring to an assault weapons ban... not guns normally used for hunting or self-defense. Most Americans support that. Most Americans also support registration of the guns you buy. How does it make sense that you have to register and get a background check if you buy a gun from a gun shop but you need nothing to buy a gun from a gun show? The NRA can get up in arms about this but they are on the wrong side of the American people on this issue.

Could you provide the law requiring you to register a vehicle?

Because you do not need to register one to own a automobile as far as I can tell.

Please don't play a lawyer online. That is absolutely false. Sometimes you should just sit back and think as to whether an argument at least passes the smell test. That's like saying an individual who failed to pay taxes for 5 years cannot be made to file for back taxes because that would be tantamount to admitting to the crime of tax evasion. Makes no sense, right?

most americans do not support an assault weapons ban, contrary to your popular belief.

1st you and the rest of the liberal party have to start telling the truth and explain to the people what a assault weapon is before you start stealing fundemental constitutional rights away from the people.

doing something like this will get the democrat and republican party into hot water when all is said and done.

Really? What state do you live in? Let me get in on some of that... because this is a requirement in every single State I've ever lived in.

The left by and large dislikes the 2nd Amendment,it doesn't help keep people needing the government to save them.

Remember that leftists believe government is the solution.

owning a car is not a constitutional right.

would you like it if the goverment wanted you to register your newspaper, computer and tv before you could buy 1, and then you could only buy 1 a month?

Post the law requiring you to register your car to simply own it....

Because the funny thing is you can buy a car without even titling it if you so choose.

Ok... the country was up in arms when it was passed the first time, correct? If there was abuse in the listing of the weapons that were banned, that's a separate issue that should be addressed. Otherwise, every poll shows that Americans favor an assault weapons ban.
