Homeland Security Warns of Rise in Right-Wing Extremism - First 100 Days of Presidency - Politics FOXNews.com (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/first100days/2009/04/14/homeland-security-warns-rise-right-wing-extremism/ - broken link)

If you don't have a clear enemy outside your borders make one inside, that's Stalin's paranoid delusions. Okay let me hear people on the left defend their fuhrer on this...

http://www.thelibertypapers.org/wp-c...m-09-04-07.pdf

Quote:
The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific
information that domestic rightwing* terrorists are currently planning acts of violence,
but rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about
several emergent issues.
So people that blow themselves up are not considered terrorist but factors of their environment but inside the United States citizens are being considered terrorist.

Funny they aren't worried about the left wing extremist, the ones that throughout history have been the ones known to bomb and cause massive unrest in what would normally be civil protest. Thank god your tax dollars are going to dismantle dissent.

Obama inauguration:
Quote:
To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history;
I remembered in the Stalin papers
Quote:
Between 1936 and 1939 Stalin used his power to eliminate all those who were in opposition to his position as a dictator. Freedom of ideas in arts was no longer possible as socialism focused on dogma and rhetoric to promote economic goals. For decades after people would refuse to say or do anything, which might raise suspicion that they did not totally, support the state. The 'Man of Steel' gained control and ruled with an iron fist, giving the people the security of obedience rather than the anxiety of choice.

That's not fear mongering, that's prudence.

Funny that until the change in administration, right wing extremists and veterans weren't seen as some sort of threat.....

I'm sorry, but extremists are always a threat. Homeland Security is simply pointing out that after the last election the right-wing extremists are feeling more disenfranchised and more threatened, so the threat of them acting violently is increased.

If McCain had been elected, the left-wing extremists would have been more likely to do something violent because they would have felt that the government wasn't representative of them. The feelings of the extremists is partisan, but Homeland Security's warnings aren't partisan in and of themselves.

A threat?

The government becoming overbearing and repressive is a greater threat to the people than extremists....

Remember what we have been old by those on the left for the last few years, how those in power are using fear to try and control us....

I am sure they still feel that way now.

Proposed imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans
likely would attract new members into the ranks of rightwing extremist groups,
as well as potentially spur some of them to begin planning and training for
violence against the government. The high volume of purchases and
stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by rightwing extremists in anticipation
of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary
concern to law enforcement.
Look at this BS, the assault has begun. Now it's only rightwing extremist "terrorist" stock piling guns and ammo.

Perhaps since Republicans, Conservatives, and 'right wingers' are a threat to the new world order, they should be rounded up and sent somewhere to think about their actions, and they can concentrate on changing their ways... Whatever would we call such places of concentration... Oh wait...

In any case, there have been 'right wing' extremist plots even during Bush's presidency, so obviously there is another motive behind the violence. The last wave of shootings were all because of disgruntled, recently laid off workers.
