A Virginia doctor who secretly gave his girlfriend a spiked drink meant to induce an abortion has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Last year, Sikander Imran was arrested and pleaded guilty to fetal homicide in Arlington County, Virginia.
According to WJLA-TV, Friday, Imran received a 20-year sentence. He has also with all been stripped of his medical license and faces deportation back to his native Pakistan after he completes his sentence.
The Washington, DC news station reports that the victim, Brooke Fiske, had been dating Imran and was already 17 weeks pregnant when she went to visit him to discuss coparenting options.
So, just wondering..... According to "liberal" logic.... since liberals do not consider fetus's "alive" or "human" and they do Abortions in virginia past 27 weeks...
How is this guy being charged with fetal homicide? Why is it not fetal homicide when women do it?

A woman choosing to have an abortion has done nothing unlawful and has not killed a person. Doesn't make it lawful for someone else to choose to terminate a woman's pregnancy.

So you are saying that the women taking the abortion pill willingly is not considered "fetal homicide", but if the man chooses to give the abortion pill , then its fetal homicide......sure thing....... got it

By your illogic a tattooist sedating someone and giving them a tattoo they never requested would be no different than that person choosing to get a tattoo and walking in voluntarily.

But the fetus is residing in her body, is dependent on her body, and directly affects only her body.

Im just saying. They should rename abortion to fetal homicide... So when a woman wants to have her "abortion" which I support under certain circumstances. Then they should call it "assisted fetal homicide". Or they should have charged this guy with un-lawful forced abortion ....... pick one or the other
Is the baby not equally the man's as well as the woman's? Do you know how many woman have abortions without the "man's" consent.........
No, not while it is in her body. When it is born, yes.
