Very thin ice...
Thanks.

I feel much more secure knowing that the President can be threatened and blackmailed.

Should Obama stand fast in not allowing these memos to be released for fear of further damaging the US' reputation, compromising national security, fostering more distractions, etc. or should he just release them so we can begin to put this issue behind us?

I'm sort of on the fence on this... the Red Cross report is already out and it details exactly how the US tortured folks at Guantanamo... so dunno if more is needed... but then again, the lawyers that drafted these memos to give Bush/Cheney cover should be held accountable. Thoughts?
All is fair in love and war...someone once said. We forget our heroes that we lost on 9/11 - I will never and continue to work in NYC with our bravest and finest to make sure we never get hit without being prepared... the innocents sitting at their desks and our brave service members fighting those who want to kill us..wise up people.. Thank God for our former President and Vice President. They had a pair of b__lls to stand up and fight. Don't worry..those nice boys we captured are being well taken care of now that we have the wimps in power. Time for the world to step all over America again

Where's the blackmail? We're talking precedent. You reap what you sow. What's so hard to understand about that?

Why do you think he should release the memos?

Luckily we're not using such low tactics anymore so it doesn't matter.

You don't overcome torture... the point of torture is not to get information... it's to torture...

Yeah--its a good thing to let the terrorists know that when they come over here to kill Americans, that they will be treated like royalty, and that despite them not bieng Americans, they will be given every right under the consitution. Sounds like 9-12 we be with us soon.

It's almost like you're wishing for it to happen.

You want us to become just like them.
