I personally believe that the government shouldn't have the right to tell me what I can and cannot put in my body.
Yes more people would use them if they were legal... but, the crime will drop like a rock. Too many lives are ruined because of something so stupid but they just had to have it because it was ILLEGAL.
They just had to have a drug dealer get it for them, rather than a store where its more reliable and less dangerous.
Do you really think making something illegal will make people not do it? Think again.
The only real means of cutting back the drug use is through education.

Yes. Legalizing drugs would create a false sense of legitimacy for drug use. Compare the number of drug addicts in the US to the number of cigarette smokers or alcoholics.
