We'll see. I think it largely depends on how quickly the recession turns around. We're already into the 15th month, and historically, they last about 11 on average. There's some signs that the recovery has already begun.

Americans tend to only have short term memories. I think that as the economy recovers, more people will become apathetic, letting things return to "business as usual." That's exactly what we don't need, of course, but as long as people can afford to go to McDonald's and the electricity to watch American Idol on the 52" widescreens, they tend to not really care about too much else.

I hope that the momentum lasts until the mid-term elections, though. I'd like to see every single congressman/woman tossed out on their butt. We need to remind them who they're working for, and that when we disapprove of their job performance, they'll lose that job, and all the power that comes with it.

Yes. A lot of people will always be bitter and refuse to move on.

Sure, for little girls with stuffed bunnies and such arrayed around the table.

For adults...beats me. I doubt it'll last more than a year or so, if even that.

Have you noticed the lame posts that Obama-Democrat-Controlled-Congress-Lovers make light of the Tea Parties?

Well, if you want to be taken seriously with the "tea party"..don't call it a "tea party", call yourselves "tea baggers", dress up in silly Halloween costumes and at the very least, put some a single message across that actually makes sense..you know, a common theme? I'm still scratching my head as to what it was all about. All the posters/banners/chants..everyone was complaining about different things. Whine fest!

There isn't a choice for it in the poll but the tea parties have come and gone from time to time over the years. I'm sure people will continue to resurrect them when they feel the need to make their feelings known.
