Another spectacular idea from Dukester. Then that mean that all the people living in Texas can STOP paying a federal income tax, SS, FICA, Medicare. Ide love to see what would happen to our current robust US() economy when the Texas money would stop. Then you will have to IMPORT our natural gas. Do you REALLY think that the state of Texas and its citizens GET more from the US than we pay in? Hardly. The more you talk of secession the better the idea sounds. Keep it up champ.

Hahaha and good to see you here again. What I want to know is: If Texas secedes, who'll be its president, Perry? Or would George Bush be rubbing his palms together in anticipation? I'd enjoy sitting back to watch the show if those two ran against each other.

Are you saying that Texas (or any other state) is funding the nation's welfare system?

GREAT! About time the Democratic leaders started calling the extremists on their UnAmerican calls for hatred against all things Obama.

When we objected to the Iraq war based on lies..we got called UnAmerican by the Republicans AND MSM. In spite of the fact we were right....we never once called for secession or hatred of Bush or any Republican....we just believed the war was wrong and making matters worse...which in retrospect it DID.

How dare the losers now incited hatred and secession and threaten the stability of our country.
Did Obama start immoral wars? Did he ruin the economy?
NO
Those were handed to him...now start supporting him or please...DO SECEDE and get out of the way of honest citizens who love our country enough to support our president who is the clear winner and the rest of the world can respect...but not Repubs...
Dudester... that 'we won' thingy is only good for four years at a time, kinda like a drivers license. We get a chance to change our minds as we go.

So in the mean time, I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't accuse me of being unAmerican for choosing stimulating debate rather than oppression.

I beg to differ.Dukester. It seems that you forget that Barack Hussein Obama is in the driver's seat and behind the wheel and he is turning this country into a Socialist Country. He is the problem at this time not George W.Bush. Be advised do not come up with the race card either because that dog does not hunt anymore. If you are backing up Barack Hussein Obama then you are just as much of the problem as he is. We can not support a President who is trying to destroy this country and what it stands for and that is God,Freedom & Liberty. I will not let my Military brothers & sisters die for this country overseas and not fight to keep it safe from this Tyrant we have in office.

If we have a cat 5 we will only be asking for what we paid in...

"You think your the only State that has refineries?"

The Houston area probably has more refineries than the whole north west does.
