Don't the folks that did that torture at Abu Garib (forgive the spelling) have an arguement about having their convictions overturned?
The Guantamino folks did the same thing and they are walking free.
Your thoughts.
I hope Obama and/or the DOJ, in time, will at least go after the ones at the top who ordered it, if he won't go after those who actually did it. The world and human rights watch groups are not happy at all about this.
Give him time, but, he should have at least waited on this annoucement and again, if he let's everyone off totally free, he'll lose points big time in my book.

There's always two sides to a story. The ones who did it may have been following orders.
You also don't know if it was ok'd all up the chain of command. All the facts have to be laid out before you can make a judgement on those soldiers.

Whether someone else escapes prosecution for a similar crime has no bearing on the trial and subsequent conviction of another.
