No, If Republicans started pushing for a Marxist/socialist state, Limbaugh and Hannity would be behind it 100%. It's what they're paid for.

Why should I assume a professional athlete knows less than the average right-wing goon on a message board or some dropout of a shock-jock?

Barkley has always spoken his mind, whether anyone likes what he says is too bad. I've been a fan of his game since he went to the Sixers back in '84. He'll never change.

Look at the Adrian Peterson mess, Barkley being himself said half the black women in the south would need to be locked up for abuse if Peterson gets in trouble with the law.

Don't take just one comment, he's made comments that have offended both political parties, he needs to realize some people are very sensitive when talking about their leaders.

So when people listen to Palin, she is nothing but an entertainer, it is ok but not Barkley? What did he say that you disagree with, that the talking heads should not want the President to fail because it means the Nation fails? Is that your issue or is it the messenger?

Oh, really? What was that that happened in 2010??? What is it that's happening all across this country in State elections, like governorships?

The conservatives are hardly getting their butts whipped, and it looks pretty good for the midterms this year, when we will most likely take the Senate, as well as hold the House. That is, unless, the Democrats manage to steal an awful lot of elections, a game that they seem poised to play once again, and are very good at. The Democrats are so crooked, they will do anything to "win" an election. Lie, cheat, and steal!

Yeup, Midterms are the time of the Repubs, Dems are lazy in off major election years, everyone knows that. How did the Repubs do in the Big Election, oh sorry I forgot you do not like discussing those elections. Let's us all hope the Cons are not stupid enough this time around to claim they have a Mandate from the People, because nothing could be further from the truth.
Wow looks like you really got excited there at the end, sounds like a Coulter piece, start out nice and slow and easy, making some actual sense, then BANG!, it's off to crazy land

Exactly. Some believe athletes are nothing but a bunch of meat heads, which is absolute bull.
