What the hell is wrong with you and why do you hate americans so much that you dont want to see those punished that killed our innocent children?

"Revenge" is how you defeat people? By "appalling" them with fierce actions and overwhelming might?

Sorry, no. That is demonstrably wrong. Torture (amongst many other things) has made America no safer. Actions such as those described do not limit the numbers of people committed to fighting America, they increase them. Did Britain's Dirty War in the '70s and '80s make life any better for the ordinary people of Northern Ireland?

Actuly, waterboarding isn't torture. So you are right that it has not made America safer, but it's because torture has not been used. Maybe revenge was the wrong word to use, but the reaction to our enemies attacks on us should be nothing short of devastation to them by our Military.

Ah yes....when was it that waterboarding stopped being torture? It was after Japanese soldiers who had applied the technique were tried for war crimes, right?

And I take it you now feel that waterboarding is a legitimate interrogation technique which may be used against US troops by enemy forces?

When you are captured by people who are your enemy, tied down and nearly drowned over and over and over again, you can redefine waterboarding as "not torture".

And our reaction to people who hurt us should be within our value system. This "waterboarding" torture is not, never has been, and, may it please the deity of your choice, never will be.

I always thought America was better than that.

It's a crime, and we've successfully prosecuted our own soldiers for doing it, and we've successfully prosecuted soldiers of other countries for doing it, so call it whatever you want, it's still a criminal act Moderator cut: NO name calling!.

(Yawn.) More of the two wrongs make a right mentality, or should I say mental evasion.

I suspect the people who "dunked" you in the pool weren't foreign soldiers and you weren't bound at the wrists and feet and didn't have a bag in your mouth at the time.
