"Based on one full year's worth of observation, it is obvious that Michelle Obama's pronouncements, advice, injunctions, and edicts include a personal exemption for the occupants of the White House. Michelle's attempts at verbally imparting wisdom, if matched against the backdrop of action, expose the First Lady's hypocrisy."

"Michelle's statement about measuring character on what is done, rather than what is said, presents a moral dilemma for the First Lady and President Obama, both of whom never come close to exemplifying the injunctions both freely impose on everyone else."

Complete article at the link. Gives an accurate assessment of Michelle Obama.

People can live their lives as they please - just don't be hypocritical. Why should we take anything the Obamas say when they don't live it out themselves?

Same with global warming. Al Gore hasn't changed his lifestyle one carbon unit - yet our activity will cause death and destruction.

I understand that no one is perfect, and at some point in time, all have done something they wouldn't preach - but being a hypocrite about a bad habit is different from being a hypocrite while preaching widespread fear and accessing people's pocket books.

Their hypocrisy was apparent when they were on the campaign trail yet the mesmerized sheep still voted for them.

Appreciate the article. Neither one can be claimed an asset to our country. The sooner we can get them out and pass them over the next time around, the better.

The Tuesday election should put a damper on their agenda..let's hope there is a great turn out for Brown to offset the acorn vote.

Michelle Obama's actions are not morally justified, she loots the taxpayer in her quest for power. She wants a bigger piece of the pie...but she never baked anything in her life. No wonder her supporters are welfare recipients, parasites, peddlers, radical leftists. They quest for a piece of the pie...and their way to earn it is continue their blind support for this radical regime.

And yet the Obama's did not even take the $100,000 available to them, like other first families, for redecorating their private residence in the White House. Oh, but why should something like that get in the way of a mindless rant by the American Thinker and the OP?
