More important than "should never have happened", is WHY it should never have happened.

The WHY of it is what will set precedent for the outcome of many future cases.

It was 8-1 search unconstitutional. The lone dissenter...Clarence Thomas. What an idiot.

Yeah, I think the pick, and the discussions around it, did affect the court's Decision.

This of course makes the Decision, right or wrong, a populous-political Decision more than a Decision based on law.
Do you have any evidence whatsoever of your supposition? Why would they all of a sudden develop a new-found capacity for "empathy" they never had before based on Obama's "empathy" pick? They have lifetime appointments -- what would they have to gain by going the "populous" (populist?) route?

That's ludicrous. Nobody was going to riot no matter which way the decision went.

Liberals probably wanted to pass out more condoms and allow her to get an abortion without telling her parents and lied about this after one of them got caught going to far.

No idiot at any school had better search and of my kids. I am pretty sure mos of you think the same way.

Most teacher and school officials are loons who believe they have the right to do whatever they want because you as a parent as to stupid to do what is best for your child.

Sound familiar? Ask Obama about how stupid parents are and his little speech about how to be a good Daddy.

All of them need to be jailed for doing this.

I haven't read Thomas' dissenting opinion; does anyone know what his rationale was?
