Was the AIDS virus manufactured by the U.S. Government as a bio weapon? (Iran, suspect)

This is another conspiracy theory that the government engineered AIDS for a weapon or genocide. Sound crazy? It might not be crazy. Through the freedom of information act declassified documents from the early 1970s talk of the U.S. government trying to develop a virus that attacks the immune system and would be used as a weapon. The timing is very suspect because AIDS was discovered in the early 1980s, less than a decade when those documents were created. what are your thoughts on this? If this is true, The U.S. Government would be liable for all the AIDS deaths on this planet since the outbreak in 1981.

I agree, kind of like the Swine flu! This thing aint going away, it will mutate and turn very deadly. Read history. It always mutates and this one will, due to three strains in one virus. VERY scary and real.

HIV is generally accepted to be AT LEAST 80 years old...maybe 100 years old or more. (It's likely been around since before powered flight lol)

1. kills slowly
2. is not easily transmitted (not airborne)

The US govt. has undoubtably investigated many biological warfare elements...and certainly somewhere in that broad scope was a virus that affected the immune system. You make the leap of faith that this means they created HIV and released it. (Considering that they also have investigated things like weather control...by your logic this CLEARLY means they caused Hurricane Katrina to kill black people.)

The bottom line though is that HIV is acknowledged by the international scientific community as being far older than the technology that would have been taken to "engineer" it. Your response to this is "don't believe this bunk"? (Seriously, that's your response? )

Making incredible leaps of faith based upon flimsy evidence and turning a deaf ear to independent points that completely refute your hypothesis? Yep, you are really convincing me.

Ooooh, they've also researched causing earthquakes...so the malaysian Tsunami was that the US government or just "The Jews" that caused that as reported by Iranian news organizations?
