There aren't 10-15 Southern Democrats in the Senate, if you count Arkansas as the South, there are 5.

But ti's true we could never count on Specter, this just makes it easier on the GOP in 2010. Now we can endorse Toomey and not worry about Specter leaving.

I am happy about this, I live near PA and would love to go over there are fight to defeat that rat Specter (after getting quite a lot of money from the NRSC, because he's a very bad fund raiser).

It's virtually impossible for the remainder of the state to counter this unless you get higher support for Republicans in Pittsburgh, as well as the NEPA area.
I believe that is essentially what I wrote....

The sour grape thing is so old we have to call it sour raisins.

And we'll be glad to have him so that the GOP can stop filibustering the appointment of needed public officials (like the Secretary of Health) for no other earthly reason than to just say no.

I think so too. Those people who turned out in droves to vote for Obama most likely won't turn out in 2010. Congressional democrats were riding Obama's coat tail last year.
