MSNBC is reporting that Senator Arlen Specter will be switching parties from Republican to Democrat.
This will give Democrats a filibuster-proof 60 votes!
1 - Specter is a Democrat in disguise anyway..so let's just make it official. He was 1 of only 3 Republicans that voted for Obama's screw-all-of-us package.
2 - Don't matter because next year..all of us Independants are voting all of them out anyway.

This, along with Al Franken, will give Democrats a filibuster-proof 60 votes!
There's been some of this and there'll probably be more, unless the Moderates and Conservatives can work together to break the extremists stranglehold. One can't just vote for the other Party's candidate forever.
